Have you been seeing the gorgeous stuff popping out on the kcw blog? I have spent far too much time ogling at it, time I think that could have, *should* have been used for doing some actual sewing instead.
But then, the week started out busier than usual, and N has been mildly unwell with a persistent stomach ache. So it’s been more like trying to catch time between odd sleeping hours, figuring out what she can and wants to eat, and some other random stuff like cleaning up our terrace garden.
Still, day three, and I have this to show for it.
These pants, as it turns out are exactly what I made even during the last kids clothes week I participated in! Maybe that’s why they came together so quickly, and I should make them during every kcwc! That way I get one thing done 🙂
The pattern comes from here, and the fabric is mangalgiri cotton. I changed just one thing this time which was to add elastic to the bottoms instead of a tie up ribbon because the ribbon has a way of coming undone, and causing falls.
They go to N’s friend K, and hence no pictures with the model wearing them 🙂 N did try them on for the fit though, and now wants one exactly like these but in a different colour. Well, maybe…
